MONDVB is a multi-purpose DVB solution for measuring, monitoring and controlling DVB signals and IP equipment. It autonomously monitors everything you send and receive, regarding your specific needs.
Core MONDVB functionality lays in stable and reliable measurement and logging of every aspect of DVB data flow, hence allowing the system engineers to observe, in full detail, all events related to DVB signal streaming. Consequently, MONDVB provides the engineering team with up-to-1-year history of events and possibility of detailed reporting based on parameters defined by system engineer.
MONDVB is fully functional on almost any DVB platform regardless of how different or special it is. It can be integrated with any DVB equipment using standard IP protocols. Moreover, MonDVB is fully compliant with any DVB standard.

The MONDVB customizable GUI is designed to be easy to use, and to assist a system engineer to achieve best results with minimal time and effort. It is up to system engineer to decide which channels and which parameters will be measured, when and how.
MONDVB has the capability to measure unlimited number of channels, satellites or transport streams. Each measurement is completely user-definable and can be changed during normal operation. Depending on the system, the measured items can be distributed among one or more equipment chains. The measurements are thus executed either serially in time (one after the other) on a single chain; or in parallel among connected equipment. The system engineer defines how (serial or parallel) and when each individual item will be measured.
For each defined measurement item, MONDVB can be instructed to monitor the warnings and alarms based on the thresholds. When system detects that the measured item is outside normal range, it will first report warning (in real time), and if the measured item continues degradation, system will report an alarm. For any parameter, it is possible to define a range of values within which the alarm should be raised. In addition, any alarm can be associated with particular level of severity, or can be ignored. All events are being logged, but also present on the MONDVB GUI, keeping an operator informed about problems as soon as they arrive.
The event and device measurements are stored within log files, up to one year, providing a full overview of events. The historical data can be consulted in any form of graphical representation (tables, charts, etc ) thanks to MONDVB analytical and reporting tools. The measured data can be exported for further analysis and accessed over the Internet, anytime.
